Preen: Prim and Proper Neon Floral Goodness

This new collection creates a burning desire to go back to the drawing board, or in this case, the paint room at college, and experiment with a Catherine Wheel, some Dulux tester pots and a tropical bouquet, and maybe a blender, just to mix things up, mix media style a little further.

As you work your way through the collection, the nods of floral appreciation become more youthful, as does the pallette, hinting to neon tones  and digital abstract pallette knife smudges to create something so mouth watering, that you want to wear it to show up your not so best friend at a wedding, whilst als contemplating whether to wear it for 4 days straight at any of the great British festivals......just for the hell of it, and because it looks so damn great.

If digital printing be the new food of love......Eat it.....all of it.

May Inspiration be with you

p

Great girls, Fluro pops, fruity bikini's, pink hair, draping dip dyed gowns, Turkish Geo prints, grunge styling..... everything i want from my summer to come....

Bloody Hell Chanel......

With a  nod to more than just one era,  what seems to be the love child of Mary Antoinette, Claire Boucher (Grimes) and Venus Palermo (a recent feature to tabloids for her japanese doll aesthetics) has been created in Lagerfeld's latest Cruise/ Resort collection.

To say that a prozac is needed to get you through to the end of the collection is again, more than an understatement. The signature tweeds are still a prominent running feature, in more candy tones than previously, with Creepers, sneaking under the oversized bellbottoms, and volumous below the waist attire.

Either Lagerfeld has intended to create an ugly tribute to japanese Antoinette grunge, or I just should keep quiet on this one........
